DG MOVE at International Paris Air Show

A key highlight on 16 June will be a panel discussion taking stock of the main challenges for sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) investment and exploring the way ahead in boosting SAF uptake for more competitive EU aviation. With a welcome address from Commissioner for Sustainable Transport and Tourism, Apostolos Tzitzikostas, the panel will be joined by high-level experts from the aviation and fuel producer industry, as well as Member States.

On 16 June, the Commissioner will also attend the high-level handover ceremony of the new Aviation Research & Innovation Strategy, developed by key European stakeholders, with the support of the SESAR Joint Undertaking and Clean Aviation Joint Undertaking.
